Carlsson Mercedes C Class Estate

Even before the launch Carlsson got its hands on the new Mercedes-Benz C-class Estate. Aerodynamic parts, performance kits,  new wheels and interior trims are the result. The CK35 performance kit is based on the 3.5 liter SLK Carlsson races on the Nürburgring.

The V6 with modified ECU, sport air filter and exhaust system unit turns out 295 bhp and 385 Nm of torque. Carlsson’s four oval tailpipes remind slower traffic of the increased engine output. The top speed of the CK35 is  168 mph. The sprint from zero to 62 mph  takes just six seconds, an improvment of 0.4 seconds on the standard C-Class.

The aerodynamic kit consists of a front apron, a diffuser at the rear, side skirts and a rear spoiler. Carlsson’s aerodynamic kit reduces lift and the rear spoiler is tuned for high speed stability. All parts are made of high-grade PUR to ensure top fit surface quality. The kit also includes an electro-polished grille insert and double-light units with fog and driving lights.

Like all suspension parts, the lowering springs are derived from motor racing. Their racing equivalents have been well proven in thousands of kilometres around the Nürburgring race track.

Carlsson 1/11 Brilliant Edition wheels measure 8.5×19″ on the front are wrapped in  225/35 ZR19 Dunlop tyres while the rear wheels come in 10×19″ with 255/30 tyres. The single-piece, 11-spoke wheels are characterised by the polished rim and a brilliant silver centre.

For the interior Carlsson uses materials to turn it into a small S-Class. The Carlsson sports steering wheel in leather and Alcantara or wood ensures the driver with a firm grip on the car.
