TechArt 997 Turbo Cabriolet 911 Turbo Carbio Tuning

Porsche 911 Turbo Convertible Tuned by TechArt

The 3.6 litre twin-turbo Boxer engine has TechArt modified turbo’s, intercoolers, air filter and entire exhaust system. Everything is controlled by a ECU programmed to 630 hp and 604 lb-ft of torque.

630 hp and 604 lb-ft of torque, 0–62 mph in less than 3.5 sec and a top of 214 mph are the result. Additional oil cooling helps the transmission cope with the power while a short gear linkage kit reduces shift times.

TechArt created the exterior in the wind tunnel and left customers the choise of two designs. The front spoiler of the Aerokit I merges seamlessly with the forms of the bumper. While the side sills lend the typical TechArt look to the 911 Turbo Cabriolet. The rear diffuser with additional air outlets and the redesigned rear spoiler complete the exterior.

The Aerokit II has clear references to TechArt’s wild GTstreet. Independent Aerokit II front and rear aprons perfect direction air too the brakes and intercooler. The rear spoiler takes some pressure of the front axle while ensuring down force at the back.

The electronically adjustable PASM suspension system is further upgraded with TechArt’s VarioPlus. Offering adjustable lowering up to 25 mm and a selection of settings for the shock absorbers. Both “normal” and “sport” setting is available at the touch of a button. Sporty driving will be detected and the suspension will automatically tighten up regardless of the setting.

The finest leather hides and TechArt’s usual attention to detail are available from its upholstery shop.
