The V12 TDI powered matt silver Audi R8 concept represents a revolution in the high-performance class. The 6 liters V12 generates 500 hp and a peak torque figure of 1,000 Nm (737.56 lb-ft) at only 1,750 rpm. Sprints from 0 to 62 mph takes just 4.2 seconds, top speed is well over 185 mph.

Audi TTS
January 15, 2008Audi took the wraps off the top of the TT model line Detroit 2008. The unveiling of the TTS also marks an anniversary for Audi: It was 10 years ago that the TT Coupe first took to the road, swiftly acquiring the status of design icon. The Audi TTS will be coming to dealer showrooms as both a 2 + 2-seater coupe and as a roadster. Under its hood lies a 2.0 TFSI engine delivering 265 hp. This intense power propels the TTS Coupe to 62 mph from a standstill in just 5.2 seconds and on to a governor-limited top speed of 155 mph.
