Aston Martin Rapide production officially underway
Austrian company Magna Steyr was selected for the Rapide production. The Rapide is expected at the end of 2009 and will be limited to 2000 units per year. Currently Magna Steyr is occupied with the BMW X3 production.

Aston Martin V12 Vantage RS Concept
To celebrate the opening of a dedicated design centre Aston Martin presented the V12 Vantage RS. Aston Martin’s V8 Vantage coupe got various aerodynamic tweaks and a 6.0 litre V12 to boot. C.E.O. Ulrich Bez who unveiled the concept announced it will be produced given sufficient demand.
Aston Martin DBS
Aston Martin unveiled the DBS at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance where Aston was the featured marque. The Aston Martin DBS is a 6.0-litre V12 powered two-seater coupe. A combination of elegant design, innovative manufacturing processes, race-derived materials and Aston Martin’s unrivalled hand-build expertise make up the DBS. The hand-built V12 produces 510bhp, a top speed of 191mph and a 0-62 mph time of 4.3 seconds. The DBS will be built at Aston Martin’s global headquarters near Warwickshire in the UK. Deliveries of the DBS are expected to commence during the first quarter of 2008.
